Applications
Delta JIC boxes are designed for use as electrical junction boxes, electrical control enclosures, relay boxes, instrument housings, and terminal wiring boxes. JIC boxes are used in areas or on machines to provide protection from dust, dirt, oil, and water. There are five types of boxes in the Delta JIC line.

1. "LO" Lift-off hinge, clamp cover
2. "PH" Piano hinge, clamp cover
3. "SC" Screw cover
4. "PHN4" Nema Type 4 Piano Hinge, clamp cover
5. "CCN4" Nema Type 4, clamp cover

Construction
Delta JIC boxes are made of 16 or 14 gauge steel with all seams continuously welded, ground and polished. External mounting feet are provided on all boxes. Each cover has a neoprene gasket seal. There are no holes or knockouts in the cover or body. All boxes except for the 4" x 4" have provisions for back panels.

Accessories
Panels for mounting electrical components are available. Panels are made from 14 gauge steel. Panels must be ordered separately as they are not furnished with the boxes.

Finish
The standard finish of JIC boxes is baked ASA 61 gray enamel inside and outside, over phosphatized surfaces. Panels are white enamel.

Modifications
Delta can provide to your specifications holes, hubs, louvers, cutouts, knockouts, and many other modifications. Special sizes and construction modifications are also available.
