Applications
Delta large oiltight JIC boxes are designed for use as electrical control enclosures, instrument housings, and terminal wiring boxes. JIC boxes are used in such area or on machines to provide protection from dust, dirt, oil, and water.

Construction
Delta large JIC boxes are made from 14 gauge steel and are continuously welded with all seams ground and polished. External mounting feet are provided on all boxes. Each cover has a neoprene gasket seal and there are no holes or knockouts in cover or body. Door screws are captivated. Each enclosure has a removable print pocket. Door and body stiffeners are provided on larger enclosures. Collar studs are provided for mounting the optional panels.

Accessories
Back panels are available, but must be ordered separately. The panels are made from 12 gauge steel.

Finish
Enclosure is ASA 61 Gray inside and outside; panel is finished in baked white enamel.

Modifications
Delta can provide to your specifications holes, hubs, louvers, cutouts, knockouts, and many other modifications. Special sizes and construction modifications are also available.
