Custom Enclosures

Certain applications require custom enclosures. Delta Fabricating designs and manufactures a variety of custom stainless steel enclosures to protect sophisticated electrical and electronic controls, instruments and components from water, corrosion, dirt, dust and oil. Using modern equipment, experience employees and quality materials, Delta can supply you with a broad range of stainless steel enclosures.
Delta's custom enclosures are made from 10 to 16 gauge Type 304 or 316 stainless steel, depending on your requirements. All seams are continuously welded and ground. A rolled lip is provided on three sides of the door and all sides of the enclosure on NEMA Type 4 and 12 enclosures. This adds strength and helps prevent liquids and dirt from entering the enclosure. A neoprene cover gasket is attached with an oil -resistant adhesive on all enclosures. All exterior hardware is Type 304 stainless steel. Larger enclosures have a removable print pocket. Door and body stiffeners are provided in larger enclosures for extra rigidity. Collar studs are provided for mounting the optional back panel. Stainless steel mounting feet or stands are provided, as required.
Custom Enclosures Delta Fabricating has manufactured many custom enclosures, which are all stainless steel, or a combination of stainless and hot rolled steel. We can make an enclosure for you with a variety of holes, knockouts, louvers, windows and doors. We can add options like swingout panels, subpanels, drip shields plus several different types of clamps and hinges.
Standard Enclosures Besides custom enclosures, Delta can meet your needs for standard stainless steel enclosures. We can provide you with NEMA Type 4 and Type 12, JIC and Pushbutton enclosures. Many of these enclosures are in stock and available for immediate delivery. Our standard enclosures are available in a variety of sizes to suit you needs. Features you find on our standard enclosures are available in our custom line. Delta's standard enclosures are make from Type 304 stainless steel and are designed to meet the same rigorous environmental conditions as our custom enclosures.
Finish and Industry Standards All Delta Fabricating stainless steel enclosures are unpainted and have a smooth brushed finish. Optional steel subpanels (mounted inside the enclosure) are steel and painted with white enamel. Unpainted stainless steel subpanels are available on special order. Delta Fabricating is a UL 508 Type 4 approved company.
